GV II

Wheel house to textile printing mill. C18. Brown brick. Pantile roof, low
pitched to eaves. Gable end to road; Cl9 undershut wheel exposed to right with
four sets of seven cast iron arms. Messrs Liberty's Print works stands on part
of site of Merton Priory. The site has been used for printing textiles for
the past two centuries. The wheel house was used for washing materials in the
Wandle during part of the processing.
