Including rear elevation to Middle Temple Lane. 1894 by Sir T.G Jackson. Red brick with Portland stone dressings. Four storeys and attic. Fenestrated throughout by sash windows, with exposed box frames, beneath flat, segmental and (to the entrance bays) semi-circular headed arches. Hare Court elevation with pair of curved bay windows flanked by projecting entrance bays with rubbed brick pedimented doorways and triglyph friezes. Projecting bays surmounted by four Dutch gables above unifying modillion cornice. Pedimented dormers, between and flanking gables to tiled roofs.Gas lamps on wrought iron brackets to entrance bays. Elevation to Middle Temple Lane symmetrically composed above ground floor level with pilastered oriels (one canted, four curved) rising through first and second floors.
