7/62 Spring ford memorial in the
churchyard about 1 metre north of
chancel of Church of St. Michael
GV II
Chest tomb. Late C18. Limestone. Two octagonal fielded panels
with cherubs to either side with fine naturalistic foliage carving
in central panel finely carved quarter balusters to corners and
octagonal end panels with cherubs. Plinth, grooved frieze with
rosettes below corniced and bevelled top. Sarah Springford died
1780.
