Dated 1718, altered. 2 storeys and basement. Coursed and squared rubble with
ashlar quoins; brick gable end. Pantile roof with tall brick chimney. Gable
end to road. 2 windows on 1st floor, with stone chamfered mullions and leaded
casements. Later ground floor windows, and shop window: glazing bar sash with
moulded stucco architrave, eared with lions' masks; rich modillion cornice
over. Blocked doorway to right. Square datestone with oval panel containing
"C.M.M." over "1718" and decorated corners. Blocked doorway to right. A 2-light
mullioned window retained to east, rest altered.
