Walled garden. Built 1761 for Reverend James Newton, probably partly rebuilt
C19. Brick in Flemish and garden-wall bonds. Rectangular plan. Walls to south
and west are of crinkle-crankle form; north and east walls are straight and may
be later.

V.C.H.: Oxfordshire, Vol. V; M.Batey, "Nuneham Courtenay, an Oxfordshire 18th
