Elaborate late C19/early C20 boathouse. Two storeys with a third storey over the
river end. Timber-framed construction with varnished timber infill panels. First
and second floor balconies, second floor one with fretted balustrade. Tiled roof
with deep bracketed eaves and pierced barge - and fascia boards. Spirelet on 2-storey
end. Apparently imported from Switzerland ( B of E, Surrey).
