Early-mid C19 near-symmetrical 2-storey 9-bay composition with 3- and 4-bay sections
flanking a 2-bay centre projecting slightly under pediment with large patera in
centre. Stucco, with frieze, cornice and blocking course. Ground floors have
banded rustications forming voussoirs to segment-headed windows and round arched
doorways. Western and central doors flat headed. 1st floor moulded architraves
to segment-headed windows resting on cill band. Mostly sashes with glazing bars,
a few with margin lights. Nos 73 and 75 have added projecting bays. No 77 has
patterned fanlight.

Nos 53 to 59 (odd) form a group.
