Walls to south of Southover

Wall along Southover High Street and continuing along the north side of
Eastport Lane. C16 and C17 incorporating stone from the Priory.
Stone adjacent to the Grange and flint to south and along Eastport Lane with
brick coping. Circa 6 - 10 feet high and 50 yards long down Southover High
Street and 100 yards along Eastport Lane. Partly rebuilt along Southover
High Street during later C2O as it passes over the Winterbourne. Further
stretch along the north bank of the Winterbourne of stone, circa 6 - 8 feet
and 40 yards long. Various C19 and C20 arches, and two composed from
individual carved stones from the Priory. Various other pieces of carving
inserted in the wall, mostly C12 and C13, including scalloped capitals,
a capital with stiff-leaf carving, carved corbels, dog-tooth and chevron
mouldings and other pieces of architectural decoration.
