Pair of early C18 Cottages with considerable early-mid C19 and later alteration. Each
2 storey and attic one window. Fairly high pitched tiled roof with central stack and
2 modern dormers. Red brick with parapet, later heightened, above cornice band.
Gauged flat brick arches to modern casements with rectangular panes. Two Sun fire
assurance plaques on first floor and parapet. Doors of 4 fielded and 2 flat panels,
with cornice heads (No 2 moulded No 4 with key pattern) and rectangular fanlights with
bars, in moulded architraves. Dentil cornices on fluted brackets, broken back in
centre and with dentilled pediment over. Inside elliptical hall arches and some old
dado rails but window woodwork mostly missing and fireplaces altered.
