Combined farmhouse and barn, now two dwellings. Probably c1730. Rubble sandstone, stone slate roof. Two storeys, five windows to first floor, wing to centre rear flanked by lean-to's. Large ashlar quoins. Central waggon entrance, now infilled and with two doorways, has bonded jambs and segmental arch cut by inserted window. Blocked, chamfered doorway on left flanked by inserted casements as is open doorway on right. First floor band rises over arch. Over each side doorway is a loading door, that to left now a casement and with inserted casement on its right, that to right infilled and flanked on left by an old horizontal sliding sash and on right by later casement. Shaped kneelers and square cut gable copings. Old brick end stacks, another on ridge to left of centre and also to ridge of rear wing.
Rear: wing has plinth and ground floor sill band, impost band to round-arched wagon entrance with upper part glazed; sill band to large, glazed lunette in gable. Lean-to side wings, set back, have sill band to window on each floor, that to ground floor left with horizontal sliding sash. Wing ridge stack has moulded ashlar plinth.
