Bridge. 1832-33, altered. For the Doncaster-Selby Turnpike Trust.
Rock-faced and tooled sandstone with brick soffit. Twin span. Segmental
arches with rusticated voussoirs flanked by projecting piers linked by band;
deeply-coursed parapet wall with domed copings. West side of bridge, masked
by later concrete and pipework additions, has rebuilt parapet. Probably
original to the Doncaster-Selby road as turnpiked following an act of
6th June, 1832.
