Pair of raised grave slabs. Mid C18. Sandstone slabs on low coursed
sandstone bases. Both slabs have a simple edge moulding.
Left slab to: Benjamin Turton of Cawthorne d. 5th March 1741 aged 82. Also
two daughters Alice d. 8th March 1716 aged 29 and Martha d. 20th December
1699 aged 1 year 9 months.
Right slab to: Margaret wife of Benjamin Turton of Cawthorne d. 26th January
1741 aged 72. Also Martha daughter of above d. 25th February 1741 aged 26.
Also Joseph son of above d. 13th October 1696 aged 1 year 8 months.
