House, now office. Reputedly 1706, but mainly late C18. Brick to front with
limestone and ironstone rear with slate roof. 2-unit plan. 3 storeys. 3-window
range. Central 6-panelled door has arched fanlight and flat hood. C19 sash
windows at ground and first floor reducing in height at second floor to C18
sashes with glazing bars; all with plain stone lintels. Centre first and second
floor windows are arch head sashes with glazing bars and plain brick arches with
keyblocks. Plain string course between first and second floor. Moulded stone
cornice and ashlar gable parapets and kneelers. Brick stacks at ends. Interior
has late C18 staircase with turned balusters and quarter landings. Some
6-panelled doors at ground floor.
