Includes Nos.1 and 2 (Dale Farm Cottage), Wellingborough Road.
Farmhouse, now 3 dwellings. Reputedly C17 mainly mid C18. Regular coursed lias
with slate roof. T-shape plan. 2 storeys. No.1 has 3-window range of irregularly
spaced casements with glazing bars under wood lintels. Central 6-panel door has
rectangular fanlight and reeded wood surround under wood lintel. Corner of left
gable has evidence of different build of squared coursed masonry. Brick stacks
at ends. No.2 and No.31 form a 4-window range of casements under wood lintels to
rear of No.1. Interior not inspected.
