House. Late C17 - early C18. Orange brick in English garden wall bond; pantile
roof. Lobby-entry plan. 2 storeys with 2-storey rear outshut, 4 lst-floor
windows. Early C19 6-panel door with overlight in doorcase with reeded engaged
columns, frieze and cornice. C20 windows - tripartite casements to ground floor,
double casements above. Ground-floor windows have flat, gauged-brick arches;
lst-floor windows have flat header-brick arches and all but that over door are in
narrowed openings. lst-floor band. Stepped and cogged eaves. Brick kneelers,
cemented brick coping, swept roof. Offset lateral stack to right and ridge stack.
Rear: 2 side-sliding sashes. C20 extension not of interest. Interior: early-C19,
dog-leg, open-string staircase with wave moulding, geometric-patterned iron
balusters and turned wooden handrail.
