Water mill. Late C18, and late C19. Coursed rubble with ashlar dressings. Slate
roofs, with ashlar coped gables and kneelers. To the west front a large iron and
wooden water wheel in a delapidated state of repair. The north front has a small
2-light sliding sash to each floor. The east front has a 2-storey plus garret
cross wing to the right with a doorway with double plank doors, and to the left a
2-light sliding sash. Above a similar window, with above again another similar
window. At the north east corner a pair of stepped buttresses. To the south a
2-storey late C19 addition, with 2 plank doors on the ground floor and 2 loft
doorways above. The south, street, front is blank with a diamond plaque in the
gable inscribed 'E.W. 1882'. The interior still retains all its corn grinding
machinery.
