Church. C16 and C17. Virtually rebuilt in 1896. Ashlar and coursed
squared stone with graduated stone slate roof. Nave, with north aisle and
lower chancel. Plinth. Nave: 3 bays, to left pilaster angle buttress.
Chamfered round-arched doorway to right of left-hand bay. All windows have
two cusped 4-centred-arched lights and incised spandrels with flat
hoodmoulds. West window similar. Stone copings, on moulded kneelers,
gabled bellcote to west. North aisle blank except for pointed 2-light west
window with hoodmould and C17 three-light mullion and transom window. South
chancel window similar to those in the nave. East window: 1896 of 3 lights
with Perpendicular tracery in chamfered pointed arch with hoodmould. Stone
coping, gable cross. Interior: pointed, chamfered arches to north arcade,
chancel arch similar. Simple round Norman font.
