Pair of cottages. Dated 1734 with C20 alterations and extension. Coursed
limestone rubble banded with ironstone, pantile roof, brick end and ridge
stacks. 3-unit plan. 2-storey, 4-window range. C20 door and porch to left of
centre, plank door to right of centre with wood lintel. 2-light casement windows
to ground and 1st floors with wood lintels. Datestone to 1st floor centre
inscribed K/IA/1734. 1-storey C20 extension to right, 2-storey C20 extension to
left. No.9 has open fireplace with stop-chamfered bressumer and bread oven.
Formerly thatched. Probably built as one house.
