C17 and later. Considerable additions and renovation on old lines. Timber frame
and painted brick, generally roughcast; 2 storeys plus attic; overhangs at first
and second floor. Front has projecting gabled bay on left-hand side to cross
wing, which is a later addition; projecting gabled bay on right-hand side with
2 gables; 4 window front; plain wood mullioned casement windows with frames projecting
on brackets and generally with leaded lights; 7-light window at centre with gabled
dormer above having early C19 pointed lights; doorway on west side of right-hand
bay with arched head and oak ledged door; massive brick chimneys on east side of
left-hand bay, on west elevation, and at rear, all with red brick diagonal stacks;
hipped tile roof. The interior is much altered but retains some exposed ceiling
beams.
