The core is medieval as shown by the barrel vaulted cellar and some internal
timbering. Much inferior refashioning in early C19. Reconstruction on
large scale circa 1930 resulting in handsome Queen Anne facade and internal
remodelling. Brick with stone dressings, hipped tile roof and brick stacks;
2 storeys; 5 sash windows to front. Windows have moulded stone surrounds;
tall pilasters with Corinthian caps; 3-arched loggia on south. Pillared
hall. Some old panelling.
