TQ 04 NE SHERE CP FRANK'S FIELD

5/200 Oak Hill

House, remains of larger house. C16 extended to rear in early C20. Timber
framed, exposed above with sandstone block to ground floor, whitewashed
brick infill above. Plain tiled roof, hipped with gablet to left end. Two
storeys; three framed bays with inserted stack to left. Three casements on
first floor, two below. Half-glazed door to centre in C20 gabled timber
framed porch on stone plinth walls. Further door to right hand return
front, double glazed casement doors to left hand return front. Evidence
suggests that the house was a former Hall House with end bays missing.
