Large house. c1750 for John Bowman of Beverley. Brick, stuccoed. Roof concealed.
Two storeys, 5 sashes with glazing bars. Two late C19 canted bays with sashes to
ground floor. Six-panel door with radial fanlight, panelled reveals and soffit in
open pedimented doorcase with attached fluted columns which survives beneath C20
glass porch. Wide staircase hall with curved cantilevered staircase. Several
original doors with fittings in architraves. Two C18 fireplaces.
