9/26 Fir Tree House and
attached stable

House and cottage, now one dwelling, with stable attached to east. Early-mid
C19. Whitewashed rendered walls; Welsh slate roof with stone copings and
kneelers, rendered chimneys. Stable coursed squared sandstone, pantiled roof.
Stable extends to rear, forming L-plan. Two storeys, one and three bays. In
main part a central 6-panel door with margined overlight; 16-pane sash windows,
all in narrow wood architraves. Low-pitched roof with curved kneelers, corniced
end and junction stacks. Attached to rear of cottage part a stable hayloft of
1½ storeys, 1 bay, with boarded door and loading door above.
