Dovecote and barn. Late C18. Ashlar, partly rendered, Welsh slate and
pantile roofs. Octagonal 2-storey dovecote, to rear 1-storey, 2-bay
shelter. Dovecote: ashlar; plinth. Doorway in plain surround, flanked by
thin rectangular openings. First-floor band, frieze, then another band.
First floor: large round-headed blind opening, flanked by slightly smaller
similar openings. Eaves band. Hipped Welsh slate roof with ball finial.
Interior: retains nesting boxes made from terracotta tiles. Barn: rendered
with ashlar dressings. Quoins. Central board door, closely flanked by
square window openings, all in quoined surrounds. Eaves band. Pantile
roof.
