HIGH WORSALL

West Worsall Farmhouse

Late C17 or early C18. Pinkish local narrow brick, English bond, tumbled brickwork in
gables. Stepped and dentilled brick eaves cornice. High pitched swept pantiled roof,
brick copings, kneelers, centre and end chimneys. Front rendered. Two storeys, two
and two bays, narrow and wide proportions. First floor band to wide part. Left part
formerly a granary. Modern plain casements at left, Yorkshire sashes at right.
Modern door. Small Yorkshire sashes behind. Rear lean-to raised in modern brick with
flat roof. Lower east extension, same style and materials; slit vents on rear wall.
