1883-4 by William Butterfield. A small country church, brick with stone
bands and dressings, modern tile roof. Five-bay nave with brick and timber
south west porch, lower chancel with transeptal lady-chapel and vestry (vestry
added 1909), small western tower added in 1894 with rectangular lower section,
upper section turns octagonal with four trefoiled openings and a shingled
octagonal cap. Modern (1950) north aisle and western narthex by D F Martin-Smith.
