Detached house set back from road. Formerly an inn called The Hit and Miss. Circa
1600. Well restored. Timber frame and brick with tiled roof and brick stacks. Two
storeys and attic. Casement windows with leaded lights. Plain doorway. The
interior has much exposed timber framing throughout including ceiling beams on both
floor, oak boarded floors at first storey, original fire surrounds and a Jacobean
carved overmantel in the sitting room.
