12/71 Well head at Manor Farm, c250m.
NE of Church of St.Andrew

Well head. c1700. Coursed squared stone with plinth and conical stone roof.
A small round tower-like well head built over filled-in well or spring. Small
open doorway. The roof is surmounted by a square pedestal and a shaft which
is chamfered to octagon, possibly once supporting a cross. V.C.H., Vol.V.
