Early-mid C19. Two parallel ranges, each L-shaped on plan. Red brick
with tiled roofs. Range facing street: 3 storeys, casement windows, segmental
headed doorway to left. Attached 2-storeyed wing on left hand side with
2 sash windows. Corbelled brick eaves. Brick 'bottle' kiln at north-west
corner of rear block Believed to have been the last clay pipe works
in the country when it ceased production in 1968.
