1830. Painted ashlar; 3 storeys; 5 sash windows in moulded architraves with
slight cornices; plain pilasters at sides of upper storeys with coupled pilasters
defining bays, all with gilded Corinthianesque capitals; rusticated ground
storey with plain frieze and moulded cornice at 1st floor; recessed central
doorway with stone Tuscan porch in antis; the 3 central bays have slight projections
and pediment; quoins to ground storey; moulded eaves cornice; tiles. C19 iron
forecourt railings remaining to left of doorway; good painted metal hanging
sign in the form of the vintner's emblem of a bunch of grapes. Extensive modern
additions at rear, which are not included. Interior generally much altered
but retaining original plain staircase.
