Pump house. Early C19, restored late C20. Painted brick, with
hipped pantile roof. Plinth. Single storey; 2 bays. Facing the
dam, a 6-pane casement, flanked to right by a hatchway with
plank door giving access to the water wheel. At the rear, a
4-pane window. Each return has a door, that to the left
half-glazed.
Inside a workable undershot water wheel, which drove a pump,
now removed, supplying water to Belton House.
This building appears within Belton Park which is on the
Garden Register at grade I.
