Public House. Early/mid-C19 and C18. Coursed squared limestone
and limestone rubble. Main range has Welsh slate roof with
rebuilt brick left end stack; stone slate roof to wing with
half-hip facing and rendered ridge stack. C20 wing to right
has concrete tile roof. Early/mid-C19 main range to street
with contemporary rear wing has C18 former outbuilding as wing
to right and C20 extension to left. Main range is 3-storey
3-windows. Two 2-light timber casements with glazing bars to
first floor with blind window to centre; similar fenestration
to second floor. Ground floor has one 8/8-pane sash to left
and one 4/4- 8/8- 4/4-pane triple sash with timber mullions to
right. Part-glazed C20 door to centre. Shallow plinth and
quoins to left and right angles. C18 building to right is
single-storey and attic; one-window range. Ground floor has
one 4/4- 8/8- 4/4-pane triple sash with timber mullions
similar to that in main range; 2-light fixed window under
exposed timber lintel under half-hip above. C20 extension to
left is single-storey, 2 windows; 2 small windows with
top-hung lights; plank door with glazed panel deeply set
behind round-headed opening to right. INTERIOR not inspected.
