Commemorative column. 1741. Limestone ashlar. Roman Doric
column said to be 50 feet high on square plinth surmounted by
statue of Queen Anne. Queen Anne's Monument is axial on
Cirencester House (qv) and the tower of the Parish Church of
St John the Baptist (qv) and terminates one of the views from
the Seven Rides.
