Shop. Late C18 or early C19. Brick; tile roof with brick end
stack. Georgian style. 3 storeys; 2-window range. Top timber
cornice. Late C19 shop front with consoled fascia and recessed
entrance; entrance to left end has stop-chamfered lintel and
overlight to 4-panel door. Upper windows have rubbed brick
flat arches, over 12-pane sashes to 1st floor, 6-pane sashes
to 2nd floor. Timber panels over 1st floor have enriched C19
lettering reading: 'F.M. & J. WAIT/ CABINET MAKERS,
UPHOLSTERERS, UNDERTAKERS, &c'. Left return has downspout from
returned cornice down to gutter of No.23 (qv). Rear has
attached stable range of the King's Head Inn (qv).
