House. c1739 front to C16/C17 core. Coursed sandstone rubble; hipped Welsh slate roof; brick lateral stacks. Three storeys; five-window range: 6/6 sashes under ashlar flat arches; three/three sashes over; moulded wood eaves and central pediment containing light with cambered head under ashlar arch. To left, C19 lean-to, under pentice roof, with leaded light and casement to ground floor. Left returned side: C19 part-glazed six-panel door, with wood lined reveals, under moulded wood entablature on plain pilasters; two grilled lights.This was the home of the naturalist Henry Graves Bull, 1818-85. (RCHME).
