Farmhouse and attached barn. C17 with C18 and C20 alterations. Coursed gritstone
rubble with gritstone dressings and quoins. Stone slate roof. Single stone ridge
stack. Two storeys plus attics. L-plan with single bay main elevation, barn and
part of house forming other range. South elevation - western gabled bay with
3-light recessed and chamfered mullion window, formerly 6-light. To east, plank
door, Continuous dripmould over, Above, similar window, now 3-light, formerly
5-light. Above in gable, similar 2-light window. Fenestration all C20, some small
paned casements, others single pane. Recessed to east, C20 porch with C20
casement over. Beyond, to east, barn with single door and adjacent window. East
elevation has 3-light recessed and chamfered mullion window, formerly 5-light, with
continuous dripmould over. Above, similar window, formerly 4-light. Western
elevation has four C18 flush mullion windows. Interior has ovolo moulded beams,
large voussoired arched fireplace and heavily moulded beam over large ground floor
window.
