Chest tomb: late C18: stone. Flat lid with moulded edge: sides
and ends fielded panels, with a narrow 'frame'; corners quarter-
square balusters, deeply recessed on stem. All on a plain moulded
base. Inscriptions weathering badly, except for one end:
earliest Maria, daughter of Thomas Hobbs, died 1772, latest 1844.
