Headstone, George Weale, died 1665. Stone. Steep segmental head,
inscription in deeply sunk panel, with continuous scroll carved on
edge. An hourglass and two hearts carved in head. Deeply incised
lettering, well formed with flowing capitals, mixed upper and lower
case. Earliest surviving monument in churchyard, an unusually
early one for such a position.
