House. Early C16 with C17 addition. Timber framed with brick infill panels;
plain tile roof; brick ridge stack with lozenge shaped shafts. T-shaped plan:
C17 lobby-entry plan hall range aligned east-west facing north with an early C16
western cross-wing. 2 storeys: 4 tiers of square panels with straight braces.
The cross-wing has curved braces and a roof truss with raking queen struts and a
cambered collar carrying clasped purlins. 1:3 window front: mainly early C19
glazing bar sashes. Early C19 porch to left hand end of hall range in the
re-entrant angle with the cross-wing: 6-panel door with pilastered surround and
cornice hood. Gabled bay to right hand end of hall range with collar and tie
beam roof truss and trenched purlins. Interior: chamfered and stopped ceiling
beams.
