Pair of terraced houses, no 84 having a similar frontage. C18 fronts with reused late C16 features to doorcase of no 83 and possible C16 timber-framed core. Red brick in flemish bond with tiled roof and central brick chimneystack. Two storeys and ai:tics; 4 windows. Flat-roofed donners. Parapet and dentilled eaves cornice. First floor has tripartite 24-pane sashes. Ground floor has curved bays with 24 panes. No 82 has doorcase with semi-circular fanlight, impost blocks and 6-panelled door. No 83 has an elaborate doorcase with engaged clustered columns, open pediment supported on reused late C16 "grotesque" brackets and date 1598 and initials HS, rectangular fanlight and c1820 door with 5 moulded panels.
