Farmhouse. Dated 1655 and 1691. Squared, coursed ironstone with new tile roof
and brick ridge and end stacks. 2 storeys. 4-window range. 3-unit plan. C20
plank door to centre left within moulded stone surround. Hood mould with diamond
moulded label stops. C20 gabled porch. To left of door a 4-light stone mullioned
window with hood mould and label stop. To centre and right of ground floor, and
to first floor, C19 eight-pane horizontal sliding sashes with wood lintels. To
left gabled end 2 blocked lights and moulded datestone of 1699. Further
datestone of 1655 to centre right of first floor. To right a C18, one-storey
outbuilding range. Quoins to left. Interior: chamfered spine beams with stepped
stops. Said to have original roof timbers. Some stone flagged floors.
