House, formerly farmhouse. Early/mid C17, restored C19. Squared, coursed
ironstone with coped gables. Stone slate roof and stone end stacks with 2
renewed flues each, linked by a moulded cornice. Original bases. Double-depth
plan. 2 storeys plus attic; 3-window range. To centre a C20 plank door with
dressed stone surround. Immediately to left a leaded light, with hood mould
continuing over door and with label stops. To left and right a 4-light mullioned
window. To left and right of first floor a 3-light mullioned window, with a
2-light mullioned window between. 3 further 2-light mullioned windows in 3
gabled dormers. All windows have leaded lights and stone mullions. Those to
ground and first floor are renewed C19, and have hood moulds and label stops.
Extending forward from right a 2-storey range with a stone slate roof, coped
gable and renewed ashlar stack. Leaded casements. C18 two-storey range to rear.
Interior: stone flagged floor in hall. Open fireplace. Original trusses and
purlins in roof.
