Hand-ball wall to rear of yard behind public house. Late C19. Coursed squared
sandstone with ashlar dressings. About 6 metres high, and 12 metres wide;
pilasters at ends and at 3 intermediate points. Flat stone coping. A rare
survival of a once typical structure in the mining villages of the region.
Later pent outhouse not of special interest.
