House, formerly house row, now house. C15 or early C16, with
late C16 and C19 alterations. Timber-framed with plaster in-
filling. Left gable end galletted stone. Plain tile roof.
Open hall of 2 roughly equal bays with storeyed bay to either
end. 2 storeys on stone plinth. Broadly-spaced studding, with
arch brace to right end bay. Roof half-hipped to left and hipped
with gablet to right. Multiple brick stack in front slope of
roof off-centre to right. Irregular fenestration of 4 casements.
Ribbed doors with very shallow hoods; to left end, beneath
stack (left end of right hall bay), and to left end of right
end bay. Possibly C16 or C17 timber-framed rear lean-to.
C19 lean-to at right end with dormer window against hip of main
range, containing stairs to right end cottage. Interior: Plain,
substantial timbers. Arch-braced tie-beams. Inglenook.
