Shop. Possibly late C17, considerably altered. Timber-framed
(although none of the original framing is visible externally);
Kent-tile gable-end roof. Rear stack. Originally a 2-unit range
(running parallel to street) with rear wing. 2 storeys. Front:
rendered with false framing. 2 window range, the window bays
projecting slightly. 1st floor with 12-pane horned sash windows
(one to the right a dummy); deeply overhanging shop front could
conceal jetty; altered shop front, C19, with pilasters, central
double door, half-glazed with ventilator panels over; tiled
plinth. Right return with mock timber framing with some brick
cladding. Rear wing with 16-pane hornless sash window to 1st
floor. Later lean-to. Interior: ceiling beams to ground floor
with simple chamfer or cyma mouldings and scroll stops. Stair
adjacent to rear stack serves both main range and rear wing.
Some studwork visible to 1st floor.
