House and attached building. Early/mid C19. Flemish bond brick with string course and dentil cornice. Old plain-tile roof; rebuilt right end stack. T-plan, with wing and attached building to rear. Two storeys; three-window range.
Symmetrical front has flush six -panelled door, formerly part-glazed, with stone flat arch and keystone. Two-light iron casements have patterned glazing and brick flat arches. Rear range has two altered windows on ground floor on the right, with C20 casement above. Remainder of building has three round-arched iron windows and blocked door on first floor; ground floor obscured by additions.
The house and attached workshop were part of Chilvers Coton Foundry (Brass and Iron) in late C19, and also the Midland Sheet Metal Works in C20. Restored as housing in 2005.
Interiors not inspected.
