Early C18. Two and a half storeys and cellar. 'Quality' house, 'L' plan
from North. Pebbledash on stone plinth. Ashlar quoins. Moulded string over
ground floor. Moulded wooden eaves cornice. flipped stone tile roofs, 2 good
brick chimneys with stone dressings and 2 others. North fronts: 2 hipped
dormers to each wing, 5 windows to North wing and 6 to West wing, glazing
bar sashes in moulded surrounds. Projecting Tuscan porch with blocking course
to right of centre, 1/2 glazed door. Modern door to left with intersecting
glazing in fanlight; port-hole window to left. Oriel window on gable end
of North wing. Five windows to West and 5 to South, latter with open pedimented
doorcase.
Interior: cross passage plan. Contemporary heavy oak staircase with turned
balusters and moulded handrail. Intersecting glazing to fanlight of glazed
screen to cross passage.
