GV II

Farmhouse. Probably early C18, with later alterations. Regular coursed limestone
rubble. Steeply pitched C20 tile roof. Stone coping to right. Brick ridge and
end stacks. 2 builds. 4-unit plan. 2 storeys. 4-window range. Off-centre
entrance to left has partly-glazed plank door with wrought-iron hinges and wood
lintel. Moulded wood door-frame. To left a 2-light wood casement and a 3-light
C20 casement. To right two C20 3-light casements. First floor has four 3-light
C20 casements. All windows have stone sills and wood lintels some with stop
chamfers. Rear has a 2-light stone-mullioned window with hood mould and label
stop. Part attached to left: C18 regular coursed limestone rubble. Steeply
pitched C20 tile roof. Stone coping to left. Stone quoins. 2 storeys. Ground
floor has single 3-light window with stone lintel. Interior: stop-chamfered
bressumer and chamfered joists.
