Accommodation arch. Probably c.1839 by Green for Newcastle and North Shields Railway Company. Rusticated pecked sandstone and ashlar. Coursed squared sandstone abutments to skew arch with voussoirs; rusticated retaining walls; band at railway bed level beneath flat-coped ashlar parapet.
