of Lower Ashes Farmhouse

Gate piers. C1759, probably contemporary with alterations to Lower Ashes
(q.v.). Ashlar. Square on plan with fluted Doric pilasters to 2 faces. Wide
dentil cornice is surmounted by ball finial.
